In addition to the regular “Dot” version, Gibson also produces a “Figured” version with a flamed maple top and back. Seen here in the color “Antique Natural”. The bracing is made from Quarter Sawn Adirondack Spruce, the center block is made from maple. The one-piece mahogany neck in "Rounded C" format and a rosewood fingerboard with "small block" inlays is easy to play. The calibrated T-Type pickups, which clearly have the genes of the early P.A.F.
