Here is an authentic reissue of a 1960s Fender Jazz Bass from the Fender Custom Shop in the classic "3-Tone Sunburst" finish with a subtle relic aging. The 1960 model was deliberately chosen as the template, as this is the year of birth of this precious bass icon. For the specs of the 1960 Jazz Bass reissue, the Fender Custom Shop strictly followed the model from 1960. A light alder body ensures that the CS Jazz Bass does not cause any back problems even after a long period on stage. A slim, ultra-fast maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, together with the two Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass pickups, form the basis for a powerful and articulate sound with plenty of dynamics.
On this JB you can see a typical feature of the first series, built from march 1960 till ca June 1962: pickups were initially controlled by a pair of dual concentric "stack" knobs that allowed for adjustment of volume and tone on each control, one for eack pickup.
Enter the exquisite club of jazz bass lovers with this classy 1960s Fender Jazz Bass from the Fender Custom Shop. You won't regret it and won't let this excellent jewel from the Dealer Select series out of your hand again!
