Pink paisley! You can't get more Flower Power! This outstanding design pays homage to the golden days of the "Flower Power" movement in San Francisco in the "Summer of Love" 1967. This funky finish was first given to the Telecaster. After it went over really well in the hippie community, this design was also available for the other Fender models, like the Fender Jazzmaster. The Jazzmaster started its triumphal progress in the 1960s under the sign of Surf Music and had a renaissance in the early 1990s with the rise of Grunge, Alternative and Indie Rock.

Reason enough for the guitar builders from the Fender Custom Shop to release an authentic reissue of this legendary guitar, which comes damn close to the best originals from the 60s. The choice of wood is only the finest: body made of selected "2-piece" alder, neck made of rift sawn maple and dark rosewood as fingerboard material. A comfortable '62 Jazzmaster "C" neck profile, plus a 9.5" fingerboard radius and hand-wound single-coil Jazzmaster pickups round off the harmonious overall look. These special pickups produce a classic Jazzmaster tone, which is characterized by a clear and very transparent sound, which at the same time has a lot of warmth and richness. A slide switch gives access to a second circuit, which can be set independently using two thumbwheel controls. As an extremely useful upgrade, this limited reissue was given an RSD Jazzmaster Bridge with vintage floating tremolo which solves the problem of the strings jumping out when the string pressure was too low and also ensures perfect intonation. The overall impression is rounded off by an extremely successful Journeyman Relic Aging, which supports the playing feeling of a well-kept and well-rehearsed original in a visually outstanding way.

This impressive Jazzmaster from the Fender Custom Shop is a limited edition model that will only be available in 2020.
