#Fender Custom Shop Telecaster 1952 Heavy Relic Nocaster Blonde MB Ron Thorn

Description

It's time for the very special moments!

Wow! What an impressive Telecaster, and what an authentic aging! Worn out, inspiring and gorgeous! Everything here is really right down to the very last detail! This is exactly what a guitar would look like after almost 70 years of hard studio and live use. If you like early Teles with an aging that carries the Rock'n Roll spirit, then you should grab this unique masterpiece from the hands of the Masterbuilder Ron Thorn immediately! Such a fine 1952 Telecaster Reissue from the Fender Custom Shop will hardly be available a second time! Without a doubt, Mastermind Ron Thorn put a lot of love and enthusiasm into the development of this unique guitar. Indeed, this 1952 Telecaster Reissue is not just a guitar, it carries that very special mojo and is a passionate reminiscence of the early years of the Fender Company.

Twang as Twang can be!

The unique outfit of this 1952 Telecaster Reissue is topped by its brilliant sound! All the senses are really satisfied here – eyes, ears and emotions! The two Custom Shop Hand Wound '51 Telecaster / Nocaster pickups produce a brilliant and clear tone that is second to none. Pearly, crunchy and crisp on the bridge and creamy and silky, paired with a lot of warmth, on the neck. Simply a dreamlike and authentic vintage tone, just like the early originals. From driving country licks to soulful blues variations to powerful rock riffs, everything is possible! Once played, you'll like it!

Lightweight and easy playing!

By strictly adhering to the materials used and the production methods of the time, Thorn created a unique instrument that comes close to the best old originals in terms of quality. When selecting the wood for this guitar, Ron Thorn deliberately used only the very best materials: A "sorted for lightweight" ash body makes this Tele a pleasant lightweight at only 2,900 grams. The "medium tint" maple neck with a wafer-thin nitro finish lets the wood breathe and thus ensures an open and dynamic tone. The neck is equipped with a 12 "fingerboard radius, which is significantly flatter than a 9.5" radius. In addition, instead of the "baseball bat" U-style neck that was often common at the time, a slimmer V-style neck and 6105 "narrow tall" frets are used. All of this suits Tele players who love fast solos, shimmering vibratos and intense bendings. This 1952 Telecaster Reissue not only looks good, it "feels" really great right from the first time you touch it – pleasantly light, with a great attack and incredibly resonant.

Exclusive and unique!

The Masterbuilder guitars are exclusive, one-of-a-kind pieces and are therefore sought-after. There is always a bit of individuality in the Masterbuilder who built this guitar. And that's how this 1952 reissue Telecaster feels – not an anonymous off-the-shelf instrument, but a piece of handcraft with a special character. Well done, Ron!

Additional Notes:
Really light weight / Complete neck (headstock, back & front) really worn & dirty / Very early Telecaster (late summer 1951) with Nocaster specs / All slot head screws
