#Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster 1963 JRN/CC Faded Aged Sherwood Green Metallic

Here is a '63 Stratocaster from Fender's "Time Machine" in "Faded Sherwood Green Metallic". A great sounding Strat and again impressive proof of the fantastic level of quality at which the TeamBuilt instruments are manufactured. With this model, the Custom Shop used the Journeyman Relic for a subtle yet very authentic aging. In the pictures you can (hopefully) clearly see how the extremely thin nitrocellulose lacquer applied reveals every pore of the alder body and a slight crackling conveys the look of an instrument that has been played for decades but is well cared for. The back of the neck has been subjected to a "Heavy Relic" treatment and that's not the only reason why this neck with "63 Strat Style C - profile", dark Round-Lam fretboard with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets feels so wonderfully familiar in the hand that playing becomes pure joy!
