Due to the strong influence of modern boutique luthiers like Jason Kostal, Tom Sands or Leonardo Buendia my first Modified Dreadnought was born. Compared to the traditional dreadnought shape, the contours are rounder and the waist narrower and slightly upwards. This results in a more balanced sound and more comfort for the player. To achieve an exceptional look and a multi-faceted sound, I chose a redwood top and Myrtlewood for back and sides. At the first touch, the easy response, the warmth, balance and complex overtone behavior stand out. The treble sounds fat and sings into the upper layers of the fingerboard. The Florentine cutaway and the arm rest further enhance comfort and playability. All inlays are essentially made of the materials brass, Zirikote and Rocklite and convey a straightforward, modern appearance!
