Daniel´s Guitars GA Custom Walnut/German Spruce

This instrument was comissioned by a good customer. The back and sides are made of uniquely grained walnut, which reminds of angel wings in the upper part of the body and has a nice sapwood part towards the body end. The top of handpicked German Alpine spruce is furnished with my signature bracing, a combination of X and Latticebracing. This creates a balanced, clear sound with plenty of sustain and excellent response. When it came to back bracing, I was inspired by world-famous luthier Jeff Traugott and added a floating brace. This strengthens the back in the longitudinal direction. To make it easier to reach the upper register of the fingerboard, a Florentine cutaway was added. Optical ornaments such as the abalone rosette and the head inlay in the form of a rose additionally enhance the instrument. For the perfect live sound, a L.R.Baggs Element VTC system was installed!
