Daniel´s Guitars GA Custom Walnut/Redwood

Here is another custom order. A versatile guitar with a pronounced bass, transparent tone and sparkling highs was desired. The customer had the opportunity to play a Grand Auditorium in spruce / walnut from my inventory. He liked it very much right away. He also like a Taylor 514ce because of the warm cedar/mahogany sound. The solution should be a custom-made instrument that combines both worlds in the best possible way. So we decided on the said Grand Auditorium as the base and combined it with a redwood top. Redwood has many of the sound properties of cedar, but allows for greater dynamics and more headroom. To achieve visual harmony, the front of the headstock is decorated with redwood. The rosette, endgraft, trussrod cover and bridge are made of ziricote. An LR Baggs Anthem system is installed for the best possible amplified sound. In order to individualize the instrument even more, the ebony fingerboard in the area of ​​the 12th fret is adorned with a custom inlay, with personal significance for the customer!
