The Gibson Southern Jumbo Original is inspired by the legendary vintage models of the "War-Era". Equipped with the best Sitka spruce and mahogany, the Round Shoulder model is well suited for country and blues. It also cuts a fine figure as a singer/songwriter guitar! Its rather mid-range sound can assert itself wonderfully in the band structure. When strumming, clear chords can be formed, which are placed harmoniously under the singing voice with the right portion of warmth. The slim-taper neck profile creates a comfortable playing feel for players who prefer a slim neck. On the other hand, the neck width of 43.81 mm / 1.724" gives you enough space for finger picking.
