Martin GPCE Inception™ Maple

Martin Guitars are delivering a completely new, innovative instrument onto the market with the Martin GPCE Inception™! Made from sustainable wood, this model also impresses with a new bracing system. Select top braces are cut out at specific locations using laser technology to reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity. In addition, fine grooves were routed into the top. This reduces surface tension and ensures more resonance. The back was also designed according to this principle. When it comes to sustainable materials, FSC-certified European spruce was chosen for the top. The back and sides are made of maple, with the back being in three parts and a so-called "Delta Wedge" made of black walnut being used. The curved lines of the center piece provide a unique look and additional stability. In conjunction with the Grand Performance body shape including a cutaway, an open, clear and balanced sound with very good projection is produced. Black Walnut is also used for the binding, fingerboard, bridge and neck. Visually, the guitar was also given a unique look. An Amber Fade Sunburst Satin finish gives the Martin GPCE Inception a great look. Combined with open-gear gold tuners and the modern-looking maple fingerboard inlays, an overall very elegant and contemporary look is created. Last but not least, the instrument was equipped with the LR Baggs Anthem system, which is extremely popular worldwide and optimally combines the sound of piezo and microphone pickup.
