Martin 000-28 Custom Shop Guatemalan Rosewood/Adirondack
Description
This Martin Custom Shop was made based on the 000-28 model. However, anyone who holds it in their hands will immediately notice that it is in a different league. The choice of tonewoods alone speaks for itself and sets the instrument apart from the admittedly high standard! Adirondack spruce and premium grade Guatemalan rosewood form an excellent tonewood combination. It combines power and a complex sound with controlled overtone spectrum. The strings sound very balanced in volume and intensity. In terms of appearance, the focus was on the natural beauty of the woods. The bindings are also made of real wood. The flamed European maple frames the guitar. A herringbone inlay was used in the top edge in a classic way. Other highlights are the golden vintage style Grover tuners and a headstock veneer made of Guatemalan rosewood. The C.F. Martin stamp is on the back of the headstock.
