With the SC-10E, Martin has brought a very modern instrument onto the market. Even its asymmetrical shape and the deep cutaway convey a modern, almost futuristic appearance. A special neck/body connection with the patented Sure Align® Linear Dovetail Neck Joint and a contoured neck pocket allow the player to effortlessly reach the top positions of the fretboard. A likewise asymmetrical "Low Profile Velocity" neck profile also contributes to the extremely easy playability. In addition to a solid top made of Sitka spruce, the body is made of multi-layered Koa veneer. The floor is equipped with an X-bracing at the level of the sound hole and thus achieves a very good response and high volume. Equipped with the Fishman MX-T pickup, the Martin SC-10E can also convince live.
