Martin SC-13E Special Burst

With the Martin SC-13E Special Burst, the traditional manufacturer is launching another variant of the popular SC model! This instrument combines various properties into one of the easiest to play steelstring guitars on the market. The asymmetrical body lies incredibly comfortably in the lap and thus creates a nice balance. The back of the neck is also asymmetrically shaped for the best playability. A special neck connection, the Sure Align® neck system, ensures unimpeded access to the upper register of the fretboard. At the same time, the system allows the neck angle to be adjusted quickly and easily. An LR Baggs Element VTC system ensures the perfect live performance. The natural-sounding piezzo transmits the acoustic sound almost unadulterated and can be controlled using the volume and tone controls discreetly installed in the sound hole.
In terms of construction, the Martin SC-13E Special Burst is identical to its sister models. However, the back and sides are made of Ziricote Fine Veneer. On the top side, the solid spruce top was refined with a Sunburst2 finish. The entire body has a high gloss finish. The core of the fretboard inlays is made of Ziricote and the outer ring is made of Ivory plastic. The scope of delivery includes a high-quality gig bag/softshell case!
