Taylor PS14ce LTD + Circa 74 Amp Walnut 50th Anniversary

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Taylor Guitars, this exclusive guitar and amplifier set was created! A Claro Walnut log was selected from Bob Taylor's private tonewood collection and has an exceptionally beautiful grain. This log provided the material for the construction of 16 sets of guitars and associated amplifiers. And we are proud to present one of these sets to you!

The Grand Auditorium model from the Presentation series serves as the basis for the guitar. Elegant paua inlays decorate the instrument wherever you look and at the same time creates a beautiful contrast to the earthy tones of the special Claro Walnut and the hand-selected Western Red Cedar top. The latter was also provided with a shaded edgeburst. Cedar creates a wonderful warm and sweet tone supported by strong mids. The response is light as a feather and the instrument is very responsive. The proven V-Class bracing also contributes to the excellent balance, sound volume and sustain. Versatile and nuanced, the Taylor PS14ce LTD can serve any style of music.

To complete the set, a matching acoustic amplifier with a solid wooden housing made from the aforementioned Claro Walnut was built! Bob Taylor and his team used the newly introduced “Circa 74” amplifier as a basis. This high-end acoustic amp offers everything your heart desires! A whopping 150 watts in conjunction with a 10" speaker produce a perfect acoustic sound. The amplifier is also equipped with a 3-band EQ, reverb, Bluetooth connectivity and two separate channels. This means that guitar and vocals can be amplified and controlled independently of each other. The whole thing is wrapped in a retro look and harmonizes wonderfully with the grain of the Claro Walnut. A perfect companion to the exclusive Taylor PS14ce LTD Walnut 50th Anniversary guitar!
