2014 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster 1966 Relic Chrome Red Dennis Galuszka

Here is a 2014 Dennis Galuszka Strat that has some special features. The neck with a rather strong "66 Strat Oval C" is a so-called "maple cap" with a separate, glued-on maple fingerboard. Galuszka has installed a Telecaster PU on the bridge, which fits in well in terms of sound and performance and gives this Strat its special note. At 6.11 kOhm, it is a bit more powerful than the two '69 Strat PUs (5.32 kOhm on the neck and 5.14 kOhm in the middle position) and sparkles wonderfully - it also sounds great together with the middle PU. This Strat sounds good on the distorted channel, but somehow it always seems to be begging for more clean sounds! Here the sun really comes out: the neck PU is strong and defined, the bridge PU blows your ears away in the most pleasant way, the intermediate positions strut powerfully (not so easy not to keep calling on colleague Knopfler here) and even the otherwise rarely played PU in the middle sounds full of character and unique. After this extensive description of the impressive sound possibilities, a word about the look: Chrome Red is really cool and the case is a stunner!
