1997 Taylor CUJO-10 No.23/125

This limited Taylor CUJO-10 was made in 1997 in a small edition of only 125 instruments! The label carries the number 23/125 and is additionally provided with the signatures of Bob Taylor and Stephen King. Stephen King penned the book that served as a template for this instrument. Here the fretboard serves as a "canvas" for the numerous and complex inlays. A wide variety of materials such as walnut, abalone, mother-of-pearl and burl wood are used here. "Cujo" can also be found as an inlay in the headstock. Western Red Cedar and Black Walnut are the tonewoods used here, which produce a clear sound rich in overtones. Another special feature is that the walnut used comes from the same 400-year-old tree that can be seen in the 1983 horror film "Cujo"! Here you get a piece of film history in addition to a particularly limited guitar.
