This OM-41 Custom Shop is bursting with energy! The reason for this are the tonewood used on this one. Adirondack spruce for the top and back and sides made of Magadascar rosewood give the guitar a lot of power, very good projection, nice string separation and long sustain. It sounds full and defined in the bass, bell-like in the highs, accompanied by subtle overtones. The OM body shape offers a high level of playing comfort and also creates balance. OM-41 style inlays give the guitar an elegant look. A slim neck with a nut width of just under 43mm / 1 11/16" was chosen here. In combination with the low oval neck profile, a very playable neck is created, especially for smaller hands!
This excellent guitar was built in the Martin Custom Shop in 2018. A great example of what the Martin Custom Shop is capable of! Exclusive materials meet high craftsmanship. What makes the instrument particularly interesting is that Madagascar rosewood is no longer available in the Custom Shop since the beginning of 2022. In addition to its excellent sound, it is also very interesting as an investment!
