Paul Reed Smith PS#10409 Special 22 Semi Hollow "Birds of a Feather" Yellow Tiger

Like all Private Stock instruments, this magnificent Special 22 semi-hollow impresses with its breathtaking selection of wood. The next eye-catcher is the fretboard inlay, to which this PRS owes its name and which extends to the headstock: "Birds of a Feather". Curly Maple and African Blackwood have been processed here with absolute perfection.
As fantastic as this Private Stock looks, so does the sound! Every note played sounds full, dynamic and bell-like. This guitar has a voice of its own, yet is amazingly versatile. With the help of the effective tone control, the front pickup provides bluesy or jazzy sounds as required. The bridge PU can be switched on as a supplement (switch position 3), operated alone it is a powerful rocker. Riffs that would otherwise only be played on a Les Paul come here with impressive dynamics and string separation. Terrific! The "narrowfield" in the middle can be combined with the humbuckers in switch positions 2 & 4 if required. The 58/15LT itself can be splitted by using 2 mini switches.
