Gibson SJ-200 All Koa Custom Shop

After a long wait, we can now exclusively present you the Gibson SJ-200 All Koa! Like all of our Custom Shop acoustics, this instrument was spec´d out by our luthier and acoustics expert Daniel. The idea was to have a noble jumbo guitar built with a unique look and sound character. Our "Additional Notes" for the Custom Shop were: "Body and Neck wood highly figured. Pickguard loose in case. Fingerboard and Bridge as dark as possible". We couldn't be happier with the result!

Particularly beautifully grained Hawaiian koa is used for the body. In combination with the large jumbo body, a voluminous and warm sound is created, which is decorated with beautiful overtones. When strumming, the sound fills the entire room and literally surrounds you. This SJ-200 translates fingerstyle into gentle melodies.

When it comes to design, all details were carefully selected. The numerous abalone inlays harmonize wonderfully with the Hawaiian koa. The fingerboard inlays, head inlays, rosette, parts of the pickguard, bridge inlays and the top rim were decorated with the blue-green material. The neck made of flamed maple fits harmoniously into the overall picture. Gold-colored vintage keystone tuners ensure smooth tuning. It can be completely convincing live thanks to the LR Baggs VTC. This noble Gibson SJ-200 All Koa Custom comes in a high-quality black deluxe hardshell case with red interior!
