Featuring an Adirondack spruce top, the guitar really delivers in terms of power and projection. The back and sides are made of Cocobolo, which is cut quartersawn. This is extremely rare to see with this wood and produces an excellent sound. The response is light as a feather and the sustain is long, accompanied by beautiful overtones. Whether gentle fingerpicking or hard strumming. Thanks to its great dynamics, it can implement a wide variety of styles with ease. The low oval neck profile is very comfortable to hold and the playability is a dream!
Anyone who is familiar with the Martin Custom Shop prices knows that this guitar currently is about 6500.-€. The selected woods, especially the fantastic cocobolo for the body, ensure a great sound. The guitar was purchased new from us in 2013 and is in very good condition apart from 2 small dongs on the back of the body. Like all of our instruments, this Martin OM-28 Custom Shop was checked and perfectly adjusted by our luthier!
