Taylor GA Custom NAMM LTD 2024 #8

At this year's NAMM Show in LA, some Custom Limited models from Taylor were presented again! Including the Custom #8 shown here! What immediately catches the eye is the wonderful Big Leaf Maple grain on the back and sides. In conjunction with the “Lilac Wine” finish, which can also be found on the back of the neck, the flaming of the wood really comes into its own. An extraordinary color that you don't see every day. The Big Leaf Maple was paired with a top made of very finely grained and torrefied Sitka spruce. This creates a warm and direct sound. The fullness of the sound is accompanied by a clarity that gives each note space to breathe. Thanks to the Grand Auditorium design, this creates an all-rounder with a very individual charm. Flamed maple in its natural form is found in the binding, sound hole rosette and on the back of the head, which forms a nice contrast to the purple color. Another special feature are the bridge pins made of gray bone with Awabhi Dots. For live use, the guitar is equipped with the proven Taylor ES2 system. The integrated Taylor Sense allows the player to access the guitar's most important data, such as humidity and battery voltage, via app!
